Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences has granted affiliation to Jindal PG Institute of Naturopathy and Yogic Science to start MD courses in Naturopathy (Clinical) and Yoga (Clinical)

First of its kind in the country,a Health Education Center has been introduced for JNI patients and students of all branches of medical sciences from 14th April 2011.

Our diagnostics have been further strengthened by introduction of a 2-D echo machine at Jindal Rural Charitable Hospital, opposite to JNI in the same campus. JNI patients can now take advantage of this advanced diagnostics at subsidized rate, in house.

A very modern Deluxe Hydro Massage tub with 37 superior quality powerful jets, and with Ozone bath, has been added to Gents Tretment Section (suite side).

Our founder Dr. S.R. Jindal has been awarded with a honourary degree of D.Sc. in the University of Tumkur, Karnataka.

Rajiv Gandhi Health University recommended to the Senate their approval for JNI to start MD courses in Yoga & MD courses in Naturopathy from the next academic year.

On the 25 January 2011, Padma Bhushana Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade inaugurated JNI’s PG college for Naturopathy & Yoga. Among the other dignitaries who attended the function, were Dr. H.R. Nagendra, Founder, SVYASA, His Excellency the former Governer of Uttrakhand, and also of Sikkim Sri Sudarshan Agarwal, Sri R.V. Deshpande, former Industry Minister, Karnataka and Sri I.M. Vittal Murthy, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Dept. of Medical Education, Govt. Of Karnataka

JNI has extended its capacity to accommodate further 35 beds in their economy section of Single Room/Double Room to support the weaker section of the society.

FACILITIES
 
Jaimal Hall:A community hall of all purpose Lectures of doctors, cooking demos, entertainment programmes and afternoon session of Yoga are part of activities here.
Travel Agent: Although we expect you to come here  with a pre arranged return journey, you may still need assistance in your local as well as out-station journey. We have a travel agent at your service, just outside out Security Gate.
Saloon/Grooming parlor: For your grooming needs, we have Separate saloon & beauty parlor for ladies and gents at a very reasonable rate.
Sight Seeing: Sight seeing is being organized for visitors on every Sunday so that they can catch a - glimpse of Bangalore.
Reflexology:Foot reflexology is the ultimate in relaxing experiences. In reflexology track stones, hot & cold channel gives mind relaxing feelings.
Walking Track: A walking track of 3km in an idyllic ambience. You walk by the lake, and through the lush greenery, and tall trees, over paver or mud road. You walk with the chirping of birds, every morning and evening, or any time.
Library:A place where you come in contact with the best minds of the world. The library houses more than 5000 books on a wide range of subjects, from spirituality to fictions, health, and literary classics.
Temple:“As food is to the body, prayer is to the mind” said Mahatma Gandhi. For prayer, a temple is available in the campus.
Swimming Pool: A picturesque swimming pool offers both the pleasure of swim & the aquatic exercises to tone up your muscles.
Gym:If you want to be fit & fine, Gym exercises will help you with modern equipments. However you will take these exercises strictly as per your ward doctor’s advice.
Diet Centre: Nature cure does not use medicines, but uses food as medicine. However, organically grown vegetable, steamed/ nutritionally cooked and fresh fruits /juices may not taste like the food you regularly take in restaurant or even at home. But after all, you are here for your health, and not for taste.
ATM:A Canara Bank ATM is available for all your financial needs.
Badminton Court: There are two Badminton Courts, both outdoor, in the campus. Playing rackets are also provided. However, feather/shuttle cock are to be bought by the player.
Health Education Centre:A unique health museum, first time in India, to show various body systems reason for their getting diseased and natural remedies. It is specially created for the patients to imbibe knowledge and awareness of a healthy lifestyle.
Utility Shop: The Utility Shop has been envisaged keeping in mind the everyday need of a patient who is likely to stay for not less than 10 days with us. Starting from the walking shoes and T-shirts which a patient may need if he/she has forgotten to bring, tooth- paste and brush down to towels, toiletries, swimsuits and night-dresses together with few treatment items, books on health and also fiction, periodicals and the complete range of JNI publication (CDs and books) are available for sale at a most reasonable rate.

Since the Shop is meant to cater the emergency need of a patient to facilitate his /her stay in the Campus, and not for any commercial aim, one should not expect a great deal of variety to choose from, and come fully prepared in all respects, as we do not allow the patients to go out of the Campus during the period of their stay.
Recreation Centre: On the first floor of this imposing building, it is a place for recreation with indoor games, such as, table tennis, air hockey and snooker, and for the sedate, chess and carom.
Lawn Tennis: There is a Lawn Tennis Court in the campus for the patients of Hut, Nest, Cottage, Deluxe Hut, Deluxe Nest and Deluxe Double Room. Playing rackets and balls are also provided.
